This role is part of Alcon's Project Management function, a team that ensures all regular and one-off projects are planned, organized, and executed effectively to help our people and the world see brilliantly. The Associate II, Project/Program Management (Para-Professional & Support Path) is primarily responsible for coordinating projects to ensure efficient execution and compliance with frameworks.

The Associate II, Project/Program Management (Para-Professional & Support Path) is primarily responsible for coordinating projects to ensure efficient execution and compliance with frameworks.
The role is responsible for administrative aspects in support of PMO department activities and PMO led project activities. The job includes managing financial data and reporting, assisting with purchases and delivery tracking, coordinating meeting minutes and updates, travel planning/coordination as assigned and general departmental administrative tasks as required. Additionally, the project administrator will oversee a team of clerks that will support the functioning of this role. Specifics include:
- Coordinate and document meetings, including scheduling, minutes, and updates (e.g., PMO Update Meetings, Surgical Transfer Governance Meetings).
- Manage purchase requests (PR) and purchase orders (PO), track deliveries, and ensure goods receipt (GR) completion.
- Maintain accurate financial data for departmental and project budgets; generate monthly reports and collaborate with the finance team on forecasts and actuals.
- Support department events and activities (e.g., team bonding, PMO town halls, HSE walkthroughs, etc.).
- Manage office and project-related supplies for the PMO and Transfer Teams.
- Act as travel administrator for all PMO and project-related travel requirements.
What Can You Bring to Alcon:
- Degree in Science or Engineering
- 2–3 years of relevant experience
- Strong command of English (spoken and written)
- Project management experience
- Well-organized and structured approach to work
- Experience in preparing presentations and meeting minutes
- Strong collaboration skills, including with project leads and senior leadership
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Experience in procurement or purchasing processes is a plus
