As Project Manager, you will be responsible to manage contractor’s entire effort for execution of the work.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Project Manager to join our team in Indonesia.
The role responsibilities include:
- Update detailed project execution manual, and related documentation.
- Assist COMPANY to coordinate all parties involved with Project work.
- Participate in coordination meetings with EPC CONTRACTOR, SUBCONTRACTOR or other party to achieve seamless integration.
- Assist COMPANY to review the EPC CONTRACTOR deliverables in term of Project strategy and schedules, monitoring system, reporting system, quality control system and Project information management system.
- Review procedures provided by EPC CONTRACTOR covering mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up and performance testing of various units/systems and their handover from respective agencies to COMPANY operation.
- Assist COMPANY to monitor and verify that EPC CONTRACTOR’S contractual obligations are met for all contract packages from engineering through to operational acceptance of the Project facilities.
- Assist COMPANY to apply Project control System
- Assist COMPANY in regular and non-regular Project review meetings.
- Assist COMPANY to interpret and clarify, where necessary, specifications, drawings, and contract terms and conditions.
- Assist COMPANY to prepare response/comments to CONTRACTOR'S correspondence
- Review that the Project is built in accordance with the approved specifications and that the services provided, and the use of materials and equipment is in accordance with the EPC CONTRACTOR’S Contract.
- Review, verify and document the establishment and administration of site security and safety rules for GREENFIELD AREA.
- Review and advise COMPANY that regulatory requirements are met, and all regulatory approvals are obtained by EPC CONTRACTOR and/or COMPANY.
- Prepare and submit to COMPANY monthly progress reports. Topics covered in the report shall be modified from time to time to suit the Project progress. Review and provide comment on CONTRACTOR'S monthly reports.
- Recommendation for issuance of any certificates to the EPC CONTRACTOR relating to Project execution, including:
- Assist COMPANY to settle any deficiencies and disputes as it might be occurred in a manner to satisfy all warranties (including performance and completion warranties) included in the EPC CONTRACTOR’s Contract.
- Assist COMPANY to resolve RDMP RU-V Project related problems.
- Assist COMPANY with reviews and checks of quality supporting documentation is issued and received via the Project EDMS.
- Assist COMPANT to review and check the HSE program is implemented and complied with by the EPC CONTRACTOR.
- Assist COMPANY with timely review and distribution of EPC CONTRACTOR’s project close-out reports.
- Monitor the work of the EPC CONTRACTOR as may be requested by COMPANY and recommend corrective action as may be necessary for the Project proceed in accordance with the overall Project plan and in accordance with the Scope of Work and Technical Specifications (each as defined in the EPC CONTRACT) and in a manner to satisfy all warranties (including performance and completion warranties) included in the EPC CONTRACTOR’s Contract.
- Assist COMPANY to identify the root cause of Project delays, including suggesting mitigation to EPC CONTRACTOR and COMPANY, and monitoring the agreed mitigation plans.
- Assist COMPANY in reviewing operating and maintenance manuals and training programs and assist COMPANY in verifying Mechanical Completion of the Project facilities.
- Support COMPANY in any type of Project management requirement via the engagement of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to undertake various works. COMPANY shall define its requirements: CONSULTANT shall agree the scope of services, deliverables, schedule, etc. and a PAF will be raised for suitable resource(s) for COMPANY approval.
Contracts & Claims Management
- Assist COMPANY to handle all problems that may occur during Project and contract (dispute, change order, etc.).
- Assist COMPANY to monitor that all contract clauses have been fulfilled by EPC CONTRACTOR.
- Assist COMPANY to control and minimize changes to scope of work and review change notifications and claims from EPC CONTRACTOR, review cost estimates and assist COMPANY with negotiation if required by COMPANY and recommend for COMPANY approval or rejection.
- Assist COMPANY to prepare change requests when instructed by COMPANY for issue to EPC CONTRACTOR, review and assist COMPANY to negotiate with EPC CONTRACTOR if required by COMPANY and provide recommendations for COMPANY's approval.
- Review all EPC contract amendments before award and signature
- Direct EPC contract variations and claims to resolution in conjunction with Client contracts and commercial personnel
- Participate in key customer reviews and meetings as required.
- Participate in regular EPC contractor progress and commercial/contracts meetings
- Participate in regular PMC Project reviews.
- Participate in Project Management Plan reviews.
Provide leadership, guidance and direction concerning all facets of contract administration.
What you’ll have
- Minimum of 20+ years or oil and gas Experience preferably.
- Previous experience as a Project Manager minimum 5 Years in refinery project
- Demonstrated PM experience leading small and medium projects or portions of large projects.
- University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Preferable Professional registration in local jurisdiction; Certified Project Management Professional by a globally recognized project management organization (IPMA, APM, PMI, AIPM).
- Broad understanding of the engineering scene in Indonesia.
