Overview
The Low Carbon Development Initiative Programme at Oxford Policy Management is currently seeking a Provincial Coordinator on a 6-month fixed-term basis, with the possibility to extend.
The position will be located in West Nusa Tengarra, Indonesia.

Position Summary
- Collaborate with provincial authorities to align LCD objectives with regional priorities and development goals.
- Conduct training and capacity-building activities for provincial government officials and stakeholders on LCD concepts, planning, and implementation.
- Facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogues and workshops to gather inputs and forge collaboration among provincial government, private sector, and civil society.
- Provide technical assistance in, and implement LCD policies, programs, and projects.
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess the impact of LCD interventions at the provincial level.
- Prepare regular progress reports.
- Support collaboration with other consultants/experts in the LCDI Secretariat for analytical and advisory purposes on LCD policies; and modelling-related capacity building materials.
- Support other systems dynamics modelling-related activities under the direction of the Lead Systems Dynamics Modeler and the LCDI Team Leader and coordinate relevant activities with other consultants/experts.
- Monitoring LCD implementation in the province in collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g. OPD, CSO, Private Sector)
- Lead the advocacy of LCD programme in the province.
Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Behaviours
- Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainable Development, Public Policy, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in low carbon development, climate change mitigation, or sustainable development, with a focus on subnational or regional planning.
- Experience in supporting the development plans (RPJMD / RPRKD).
- Understanding of low carbon development frameworks, policies, and practices.
- Proficiency in data analysis, policy analysis, and project management.
- Good in communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups, including government officials, community leaders, and international partners.
