Purchasing Staff
Requirements :
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, Education Administration, or related fields.
- 3-5 years experience in related field.
- Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably within educational institutions or government agencies.
- Familiarity with school-specific needs, such as educational materials, technology, furniture, and supplies.
- Fluent in English
- Understanding of local, state, and federal procurement laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of competitive bidding processes, contract management, and ethical purchasing practices.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Budget management and financial analysis
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze vendors and market conditions
- Proficiency in procurement software (SAP and PR Online) and MS Office suite.
- Knowledge of school district policies and procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, vendors, and community stakeholders
- Understanding of ethical standards in public procurement
