Join us as a Senior QA Engineer at Wristcheck, where you will spearhead our quality assurance efforts for our cutting-edge e-commerce and marketplace platforms. This pivotal role involves shaping and overseeing our QA processes, ensuring high standards across web, mobile applications, and driving our vision to innovate in the watch industry.
This is a remote role working with our Hong Kong headquarters. Candidates must be willing to work on the Hong Kong timezone, and may be asked to travel on occasion.
What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA strategies and frameworks, setting the standard for testing practices across the organization.
- Create and maintain detailed, structured test plans and test cases, ensuring thorough coverage of all functionalities.
- Oversee and participate in manual and automated testing processes, while emphasizing the importance of manual testing expertise.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in test case writing, bug tracking, and reporting workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless integration of QA processes with development cycles.
- Manage stress and performance testing, ensuring system resilience and scalability.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of testing methodologies, staying abreast of industry trends and tools.
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years of experience in a QA role, with a demonstrated track record in managing QA processes.
- Strong foundation in manual testing with an appreciation for the role of automation in QA.
- Experience in developing and implementing test cases and QA guidelines.
- Strong experience with API testing tools like Postman.
- Comfortable with mobile testing with a strong grasp of STLC.
- Proficient in SQL for database testing and analysis.
- Experienced with JIRA for bug tracking and Agile project management.
- Familiarity with performance testing tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter.
- A creative problem solver, able to think outside the box.
- Independent worker that takes initiative to get the job done.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience working with an international team is a plus!
