SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- MUST experience in Pressurized Mud Cap Drilling operations either directly or been involved in drilling operations.
- Experience of working with upstream drilling equipment either in and Electrical or Mechanical discipline.
- Calibration, Maintenance, Repair, Troubleshooting, including system rig up/rig down.
- Mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical aptitude with troubleshooting skills, including wiring.
- Ability to read and understand hydraulic set ups and process flow diagrams
- Proven track history of running RCD’s and knowledge of pressurized equipment and systems
- Understand of the fundamentals of drilling systems and process.
- Ability to understand, evaluate and apply technical information to solve problems.
- Good understanding of Risk Assessment and Mitigation process
- Effective time management skills, able to apportion time effectively to complete tasks. Adept at exercising good judgement whilst being constrained by tight deadlines.
- Good communication skills are essential to provide colleagues with the information they need to work effectively as a team
Desirable:
- Previous experience in drilling environment, preferably in MPD operations
- Lifting equipment, pressure testing, and pipework assembly
