We are looking for an Research Analyst and Fund Management in Indonesia who responsible conducting research and analysis and providing recommendations on companies and preparing analysts and providing recommendations to investment managers with reference to the laws and regulations applicable in the Indonesian capital market.

We are looking for an Research Analyst and Fund Management in Indonesia who responsible conducting research and analysis and providing recommendations on companies and preparing analysts and providing recommendations to investment managers with reference to the laws and regulations applicable in the Indonesian capital market.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct qualitative research, networking, and third-party checks.
- Conducting detailed credit evaluations/reviews and producing credit papers for new credits and/or current holdings as investment recommendations to fund managers.
- Conduct Bank Analysis (CAMEL) and prepare memos for approval by the Investment Committee regarding adding banks to the investable universe.
- Ensure close monitoring of the bond universe, rating updates, brief reviews and formal annual credit reviews.
- Conduct primary or secondary stock research for analyst stock scope or investment meetings based on internal processes and procedures.
- Conduct writing related to ad-hoc activities such as meetings with government, industry experts, and other sources.
- Maintain relationships with companies or publishers for stock coverage.
- Monitor stock databases based on internal procedures.
- Conduct investment processes and report production.
- Provide investment managers with stock projections and ideas.
- Participate and contribute to the updating of monthly Fixed Income discussion materials with Regional CIOs.
- Regional: Fulfill work related to regional activities such as weekly investment meetings, bi-weekly investment meetings, monthly investment meetings, and quarterly investment committee meetings.
- Local: Fulfill work related to local activities such as investment team meetings - marketing, and ad-hoc meetings with other divisions.
- Contribute to internal teams across departments.
- Provide data analysis for existing and new product development from an investment perspective.
- Marketing:
- Conducting stock market projection presentations for sales agents, marketing staff, and investors.
- Executing marketing materials in accordance with the investment team's perspective.
- Monitoring or analysing all equity portfolios in accordance with internal and external regulations, client-specific objectives, and existing restrictions if needed.
- Trading:
- Analysing data on all stock trading transactions in accordance with portfolio objectives, regulations, and internal procedures if needed.
- Conducting stockbroker evaluation reports.
- Analysing data related to stock portfolio transactions.
Who You Are
- Minimum bachelor’s degree majoring in Economics / Accounting
- Mandatory holding WMI (Wakil Manager Investasi) Certification that has been approved by SK (Decree) from OJK.
- Optional holding CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certificatio
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in the financial industry such as capital markets, insurance or banking, especially in the investment area.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, including but not limited to the spectrum of equity management, bond and fixed income management, portfolio management, macroeconomics, qualitative analysis and valuation.
- Have up-to-date knowledge of applicable regulations, especially in the capital market industry and not limited to POJK, SEOJK and other capital market regulations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex risk concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Able to communicate well in English (oral and written).
