Your responsibilities and tasks:
- Developing & maintaining strong customer relationships to increase customer satisfaction & loyalty.
- Study customer needs, pain points & business challenges & create a customized sales proposal to present a customer value added proposition by following up with customers from award of purchase order to delivery of machines.
- Obtains request for proposals for customers, use CRM, reviews specifications & determines scope of supply.
- Prepares technical proposals & presentations & submits to Sales Manager for review before sending to customer / prospect.
- On a weekly basis, provides customer visit & plan, sales project status reports, which encompass the funding of the project, what needs to be offered to win the work, and positioning vs. the competition, to both the assigned Sales Manager.
- Develops business & marketing plans for sales areas as well as makes budget target recommendations.
- Technical knowledge of GEA equipment & the customer process.
- Liaise with the engineering or services team to address technical concerns or requirements & be present in.
- Support development & delivery of technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications & product training sessions.
- Provide post-sales support to customers, including technical troubleshooting and customer training ensuring their satisfaction with the product or service.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics & competitor offerings
Your profile and qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering & the technical selling experience is required.
- 5 - 7 years' experience as a sales engineer, selling capital equipment into engineering firms making chemical and/or pharmaceutical projects.
- Strong technical background & ability to understand complex technical concepts & effectively communicate them to both technical & non-technical audiences.
- Customer & Representative relationship building experience is required.
- Based in Jakarta & willing to travel to all over Indonesia for GEA business purpose.
- Knowledge with CRM & sales management tools.
- Capital Equipment sales experience is required.
- Pro-active, initiative, self-motivated, eager to learn & teamwork oriented.
- Good communication skills & fluent in English.
