We are hiring a highly-driven and meticulous Senior Executive, Compensation & Benefits (C&B) to lead and own the C&B function across our Indonesia entities. As the sole C&B specialist, this role is critical in ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment of our total rewards strategy. You will serve as the go-to person for all payroll, benefits, and employee lifecycle compensation matters. Working closely with Finance, Legal, and HR colleagues across TA and Compliance functions.
What You'll Do
1. Payroll Management & Compliance
- Lead monthly payroll processing for multiple entities, including base salary, overtime, bonuses, THR, and final settlements.
- Ensure 100% accuracy and timely disbursement of payroll in compliance with tax and labor laws.
- Coordinate with Finance for payroll reconciliation, audits, and reporting.
- Oversee statutory contributions (e.g., BPJS Kesehatan & Ketenagakerjaan) and liaise with payroll vendors and tax consultants.
2. Compensation & Rewards
- Manage annual salary reviews, bonus distributions, and incentive programs.
- Conduct salary simulations and costing for new hires, promotions, transfers, and restructures.
- Support development and maintenance of internal salary structures and compensation frameworks.
- Participate in market benchmarking and salary surveys to maintain competitive pay practices.
3. Benefits Administration
- Administer employee benefits programs, including insurance, medical, and leave policies.
- Manage vendor relationships, evaluate service performance, and negotiate renewals.
- Provide clear communication and education to employees on benefits offerings.
4. HRIS & Data Integrity
- Maintain HRIS (e.g., Mekari Talenta or SunFish) data accuracy for payroll and compensation records.
- Ensure timely updates of payroll-related data including position changes and statutory deductions.
- Collaborate with HR Compliance on alignment with labor laws and internal policies.
5. Budgeting & Reporting
- Lead compensation and benefits budget planning and forecasting.
- Prepare regular dashboards and reports on compensation trends, costs, and risks for management.
6. Policy & Governance
- Develop and update C&B policies, ensuring legal compliance and internal alignment.
- Prepare documentation for audits and regulatory reporting.
7. Projects & Process Improvements
- Support the design and rollout of new rewards initiatives and policy enhancements.
- Identify and implement improvements and automation opportunities in payroll and benefits processes.
8. Advisory & Employee Support
- Serve as the go-to advisor for compensation-related queries and issue resolution.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure pay equity and alignment with internal compensation standards.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in payroll, compensation, or benefits.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws, statutory contributions, and income tax.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with HR/payroll systems.
- Detail-oriented, confidential, and analytical with good problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to manage vendors and stakeholders.
- Experience with salary reviews, bonus payouts, or salary surveys is a plus.
- Strong sense of ownership, confidentiality, and professional integrity.
