Senior Officer, Operations Support & Facilities

Position Summary
The position is responsible for overseeing and supporting the efficient functioning of cargo operations, infrastructure, and associated facilities. This role ensures that all operational support services, including logistics, maintenance, and facility upkeep, are carried out in compliance with safety, regulatory, and service standards.
Key Accountability
- Monitor day-to-day support services for cargo operations to ensure efficient handling of inbound and outbound cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of assets, maintenance schedules, and service logs. Prepare reports related to facility usage, support issues, and improvement plans.
- Ensure all cargo support and facility operations are conducted in compliance with local regulations, aviation authority requirements, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with facility management and support teams for timely repairs, safety inspections, and preventive maintenance.
- Act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external service providers to resolve operational or facility-related issues.
- Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of cargo terminals, warehousing facilities, equipment (e.g., forklifts, ULDs, conveyors), and common areas
Qualification & Working Experience
- SPM/SPMV/DVM, Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Facility Management, Aviation, or related field
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in technical field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cargo operations, logistics, or facility management and technical preferably in an airport or freight environment
Areas of Experience
- Experienced in working with cargo airlines, forwarding agents, or factories within the logistics sector.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and operations related.
- Ability to work independently under pressure
