- Provide support to achieve the objective of WP2, which is to improve
landscape management for better ecosystem health and services through the
restoration of landscapes and the development of a management action plan for
water resources and watersheds at the landscape and sub-landscape levels.
- Conduct a series of FGDs, key informant interviews, and literature review
to identify detailed intervention options from broad restoration options (i.e.
trees with less use of water) and to develop management strategies of water
resources and watershed (i.e. green infrastructure to achieve water use
efficiency) in the selected landscape and sub landscapes.
- Support the establishment of a business model and business plan using an
outcome mapping approach through a series of facilitation processes.
- Under the supervision of the Agroforestry Socio-Ecological Impact
Research Officer, plan and implement of field operations to achieve the targets
of the Outputs under Immediate Outcome 1320 Improved Agricultural and Landscape
Management, including planning and implementation of training, field
consultation, farmer field schools, on farm demonstration trial and
demonstration sites establishment and management, and data collection
(management and storage) and reporting.
- Field supervises, in collaboration with the Senior Ecological Modeller,
of the Farmer Extensionists in implementing project activities to achieve the
targets of the Outputs under Immediate Outcome 1320 Improved Agricultural and
Landscape Management, Output 1331 regarding support of awareness raising
campaigns of healthy diets, and Output 1332 regarding technical consultation
and kitchen garden establishment for food security and nutrition, also support
output 1333 lead by CIFOR.
- In coordination with the WP3 Leader. WP 2 Leader and Co-Management and
Restoration Specialist implement project activities to achieve targets related
to the co-management of forest, peat, and agricultural lands: particularly the
targets under Output 1323.
- Support all activities under WP3 consortium in Bone district.
