The Technical and Sales Executive at DNV Inspection Services Indonesia will lead business development while serving as a key technical authority for local teams and customers. This dual-capability role requires both commercial acumen and hands-on technical expertise to support inspection projects from opportunity to successful delivery
The incumbent will:
- Drive market growth across Indonesia’s industrial sectors.
- Provide technical consultation and solution design aligned with DNV’s inspection portfolio.
- Support team in mobilizing resources and manage customer projects to ensure quality, timeliness, and customer satisfaction.
- Uphold DNV’s uncompromising standards of integrity, ethics, and compliance in all interactions, ensuring adherence to legal, regulatory, and company requirements.
- Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to achieve revenue objectives and expand market share.
- Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities across targeted sectors.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship management.
Technical Consultation & Customer Support
- Act as the primary technical point of contact during the sales cycle, translating customer needs into tailored solutions.
- Provide expert guidance on inspection methodologies, applicable standards, and best practices.
- Work closely with customers to scope technical requirements, prepare proposals, and resolve queries.
Project Mobilization & Management
- Oversee mobilization of inspection projects, ensuring resources, schedules, and deliverables are in place.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth execution, compliance with standards, and on-time delivery.
- Monitor project progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions where needed.
Market & Relationship Management
- Monitor market developments, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent DNV at industry events, conferences, and client forums to enhance visibility and credibility.
- Build long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Internal Collaboration
- Partner with operational and functional teams in Indonesia and abroad to ensure a unified approach to customer delivery.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a related technical discipline; advanced qualifications or relevant professional certifications preferred.
- Proven track record in technical sales, business development, and/or inspection services, ideally with exposure to oil & gas, renewables, power, or industrial sectors.
- Solid understanding of inspection processes, industry standards, and relevant technologies, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Demonstrated ability to mobilize, coordinate, and manage inspection or technical service projects from start to completion.
- Strong negotiation, closing, and customer engagement skills, with a record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Bahasa Indonesia; confident in presenting to technical and executive audiences.
- Strong planning, prioritization, and time-management abilities, capable of managing multiple concurrent assignments.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and standard business software applications.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
