Main Responsibilities:
1. Develop a marketing plan based on market analysis and company objectives
2. Achieve sales targets set by the company Identify new market opportunities, including shipping routes, logistics clients, and potential cargo sources.
3. Manage sales process, including prospecting, negotiating, offering and sales closing
4. Establish and maintain strong and strategic relationships with customers
5. Responsible for developing team members through various means, such as mentoring, coaching, counselling, etc
6. Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviour to refine marketing strategies
General Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the implementation of an Integrated Management System, including the identification, documentation, and control of risks in the relevant department's work area
2. Foster and ensure the commitment of every team member to understand and adhere to all applicable Integrated Management System requirements
3. Be willing to participate in the investigation process of accidents, incidents, or actions that may lead to incidents caused by unsafe actions or unsafe conditions, including providing accurate information and reports for management
Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Logistic, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sales & marketing, preferably in port operations, stevedoring, shipping or logistics
At least 1-3 years in a managerial or department head role with a proven track record of strategic leadership.
Strongly understand multimodal transportation (sea, air, land), port services and stevedoring, terminal operations, and cargo handling processes.
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills to manage client and internal stakeholder effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, data-driven decision-making, and commercial acumen.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Proficient in MS Office and logistics management system
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Willingness to travel as required by business needs
