PT. Sinotrans Overseas Indonesia is a leading 3PL company in Indonesia seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Transport Manager to oversee all transport projects nationwide. This is an outsourced position, offering significant responsibility and growth potential.
As our Transport Manager, you will be instrumental in optimizing our logistics operations and driving business expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee all transportation projects across Indonesia.
- Develop and implement efficient transport strategies for timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Actively engage in business development by marketing distribution and transportation services to existing and potential customers.
- Monitor and analyze transportation performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
- Lead and mentor a team of transport professionals.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a Transport Manager or similar leadership role within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing distribution/transportation services for a 3PL company.
- Demonstrated success in business development and customer acquisition.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
- Excellent understanding of Indonesian transportation regulations and infrastructure.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A professional and ethical approach with a strong professional track record.
- Ability to develop and execute long-term transport strategies aligned with business goals.
- Expertise in optimizing routes, managing fleet, and ensuring efficient cargo movement.
- Strong skills in selecting, negotiating with, and managing third-party logistics providers and carriers.
- Familiarity with Transport Management Systems (TMS), route optimization software, and other relevant logistics technologies.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks associated with transportation, including regulatory compliance and unforeseen disruptions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- In-depth understanding of the Indonesian logistics landscape, including market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and reduce transportation costs without compromising service quality.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex logistics challenges.
- Capacity to adapt to changing market conditions and business requirements.
