Responsibilities:
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
• Evaluate and recommend investment options, funding sources, and financial instruments that will meet the organization’s treasury objectives.
• Establish and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with the external financial community. This includes maintain good banking relationships with various banks (to ensure that they are able to capture the data that will allow them to assess currency movements the next 3.6.9 months forward)
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of finance professionals to ensure that treasury activities are conducted effectively and ethically and comply with the organization’s policies and standards as well as relevant regulations and laws.
• Manage additional activities such as hedging and trading as you will be required to analyze the market and propose hedging strategy for Treasury Committee.
• Alert Treasury Committee on major market events that may affect our hedge positions.
• Involved in trading/managing Foreign Exchange portfolio in order to develop trading decisions to the Treasury Committee at best possible rates.
• Monitor and manage Group’s currency, interest rates and counterparty exposures.
• Assist Business Units in FX conversion, settlement issues and facilities requirements.
• Gather market intelligence and provide appropriate feedback to Treasury Committee.
• Provide support to treasury team and backup Chief Dealer.
