Get to Know the Role
We're looking for a strategic and entrepreneurial Upmarket & Local Legend Manager Associate to lead our efforts in unlocking the hidden potential of high-quality, under-the-radar merchants. This role functions as a growth incubator—not traditional sales. Your mission is to activate, influence, and elevate select premium brands through personalized engagement, inflection-point strategies, and brand-building initiatives.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- Unlock Growth in Select Merchants
- Identify & select high-potential upmarket and local legend merchants in the area based on several indicators: customer ratings, reviews, cuisine profile, pricing, and reservation behavior.
- Drive business growth on the selected merchants, especially on their delivery business.
- Incubate, Activate, and Influence
- Manage a focused portfolio of selected merchants per month, with selective additions based on need and performance.
- Engage selected merchants frequently, ensuring close knit relationship and continuous support and resolve any issues
- Curate and Instigate Offline Growth
- Forecast budget requirement for offline campaigns of the selected merchants
- Lead non-campaign-based offline activations (e.g., events, launches), driving several meaningful merchant-led initiatives per semester.
- Execute brand-building offline activities per semester, with long lasting impact duration.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Experience: 4–7 years in premium brand management, F&B incubation, merchant success, or lifestyle strategy. Experience with upmarket segments is highly preferred.
- Approach: Less transactional, more curatorial. You're a growth strategist and brand builder.
- Skills: Exceptional stakeholder engagement, ecosystem mapping, and program design. Data- and insight-driven.
- Mindset: Ownership, creativity, and a long-term incubation lens. Comfortable with ambiguity and non-linear growth journeys.
