To support our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and meticulous Accounting Staff to join our finance team in Jakarta.
We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Staff who will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting duties within our fast-paced logistics environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our company by ensuring accurate financial records, efficient cash flow management, and timely reporting. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our operations team.
Key Responsibilities: General Ledger & Bookkeeping: Manage and record all daily financial transactions, including revenue, operational costs, purchases, and payments, into our accounting system.
Accounts Receivable (AR): Issue, send, and follow up on client invoices. Monitor accounts receivable, perform collections on overdue accounts, and prepare AR aging reports.
Accounts Payable (AP): Process and record incoming invoices from vendors, including shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and customs agents. Schedule and prepare payments to ensure timely settlement.
Cost Accounting: Perform job costing for each shipment by accurately calculating and allocating all related operational expenses (e.g., freight costs, terminal handling charges, warehousing, customs duties) to determine profitability.
Bank & Cash Management: Manage petty cash and perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between company records and bank statements.
Tax Compliance: Assist in the calculation, preparation, and reporting of monthly taxes, including PPh 21/23 and VAT (PPN), in compliance with Indonesian tax regulations.
Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements, including the Profit & Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement.
Document Verification: Verify the completeness and validity of supporting financial documents such as invoices, delivery orders, Bills of Lading (B/L), and Airway Bills (AWB).
Bachelor's degree in Accounting is a must.
Proven experience as an Accounting Staff, preferably within the freight forwarding, logistics, or a similar industry.
Mandatory Language Skills: Professional fluency in Mandarin (speaking, reading, and writing) and English is essential for this role.
Technical Proficiency:
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables, is required.Hands-on experience and operational knowledge of Oracle accounting software is a must.Strong understanding of accounting principles, cost accounting, and Indonesian tax regulations.
Exceptional accuracy and a high level of attention to detail.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal teams, clients, and vendors.
