- Develop and execute UPL’s commercial strategy for Sri Lanka to achieve revenue, profit, and market share targets.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities for UPL’s products.
- Build and maintain a strong distribution network to ensure the availability of UPL products across key markets.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities for UPL’s innovative and sustainable agricultural solutions, including Bio-Solutions and digital tools.
- Drive sales growth by managing key accounts, distributors, and channel partners.
- Set and monitor sales targets, ensuring alignment with UPL’s regional and global objectives.
- Optimize pricing strategies to balance competitiveness and profitability.
- Prepare and manage the commercial budget for Sri Lanka, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as sales growth, market share, and profitability, and report on progress to regional leadership.
- Ensure compliance with UPL’s policies, local regulations, and ethical standards.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including farmers, distributors, government agencies, and industry associations.
- Represent UPL at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance the company’s visibility and reputation in the Sri Lankan market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, regulatory, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Lead, train, and mentor the sales and marketing teams to achieve high performance.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration within the team.
