This role is part of Alcon's Supply Chain function, a team that manages the logistics, inventory management, and supply chain analytics for Alcon's industry leading products to ensure products are delivered efficiently and effectively so that people can see brilliantly.
The Director, Supply Chain Planning Management, is primarily responsible for leading supply chain planning teams to develop strategies that align with company goals. You will manage complex projects, optimize outcomes, and impact strategic goals through strategic planning, industry expertise, and strong communication skills. Specifics include:
• Lead and direct supply chain planning teams, developing and implementing strategies for departmental success and alignment with company goals
• Manage complex projects to optimize outcomes and directly impact strategic goals
• Plan, control, and manage finished goods inventory to meet production and customer requirements
• Collaborate with teams to address constraints and optimize efficiency
• Make key decisions within the department, managing resources and approving projects
• Foster a culture of excellence by leading performance management, driving talent development, ensuring positive associate relations, enhancing engagement, and recognizing achievements
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with Good Practice (GxP) regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation, ensuring rigorous quality control
• Complete all required training and meet individual job requirements
• Contribute to the overall compliance of the organization and commit to continuous improvement
