We are seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team in Bali. This role will support our Finance Manager with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks, helping ensure smooth financial operations across our local and international business.
Tasks
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for accurate data entry, payment processing, reconciliations, and maintaining organised records in Zoho Books. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and supporting a busy finance function.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting Support
- Enter supplier invoices, purchase orders, and payments into Zoho Books.
- Maintain up-to-date accounts payable and receivable records.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile bank accounts and company credit cards in Zoho Books.
- Prepare payment lists for approval by the Finance Manager.
- Process staff reimbursements and petty cash claims.
- Assist with multi-currency and international payments.
- Support the preparation of monthly reports.
- Assist in compiling tax-related documents for VAT (PPN) and other filings.
- Help gather documentation for audits.
- Maintain digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to resolve finance-related queries.
- Provide general support to the Finance Manager and wider team.
Essential
- 1–2 years of experience in finance, bookkeeping, or accounts administration.
- Proficiency in Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numeracy skills and high attention to detail.
- Organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of Indonesian tax and compliance requirements.
- Experience in multi-currency transactions.
