As Fleet Business Development Manager, you will play crucial role in expansion of our fleet partnerships with rental companies across the Jakarta metropolitan area. This pivotal role is focused on identifying, pursuing, and securing new partnerships to ensure supply of vehicles to our business, directly impacting our operational capabilities and growth. The ideal candidate is a proactive and tenacious professional with a proven track record in business development, specifically within the logistics, transportation, or automotive rental sectors. You will be responsible for building and nurturing a strong pipeline of potential fleet partners, negotiating favorable agreements, and ensuring a seamless onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead Partnership Expansion: Identify, pursue, and secure new strategic partnerships with vehicle rental companies throughout the Jakarta metropolitan area.
- Manage the Full Sales Cycle: Drive the entire partnership acquisition process from initial lead generation and prospecting to contract negotiation, closing deals, and ensuring smooth onboarding for new partners.
- Build and Maintain a Strong Pipeline: Proactively develop and manage a robust pipeline of potential fleet partners to ensure a continuous and reliable supply of vehicles.
- Represent the Company: Act as the primary point of contact for potential partners, effectively communicating our value proposition and building strong, lasting business relationships.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Analytics, and Legal, to streamline the partner acquisition process and ensure successful integration of new fleets.
- Drive Market Strategy: Utilize your understanding of the Jakarta market to develop and execute effective strategies for identifying and engaging high-potential rental companies.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or partnership management, with a proven track record of acquiring new business accounts.
- Experience in Indonesia's logistics, transportation, automotive, or vehicle rental industry is highly preferred.
- A strong, existing network of contacts within vehicle rental companies and the broader automotive industry in the Jakarta area is a significant advantage.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and qualify high-value partners.
- Proficient presentation skills, with the ability to prepare reports for internal teams and management;
- Ability to work on problem-solving initiatives as part of a cross-functional team;
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
You’ll be part of the Fleet Business team, a group of passionate individuals working on strategy meets on-the-ground execution. We maintain a holistic perspective on the entire fleet business, from sourcing and partnerships to operational excellence. Specifically, we are dedicated to ensuring scalable supply of vehicles to meet market demand. Some of our daily tasks include monitoring key fleet metrics like vehicle availability and partner performance, analyzing market trends to forecast supply needs, and devising initiatives to grow our network of fleet partners. We work hand-in-hand with internal stakeholders, including Operations and Product Management teams, and are the primary point of contact for our external stakeholders: the valued fleet owners, rental companies, and automotive industry players who partner with us.
