RESPONSIBILITIES
Equipment, Services, Technical and Training Support.
Additional specific accountabilities include but are not limited to:
• Development of business plans and sales strategies at the mine that ensures attainment of
Company sales goals and profitability.
• Provide technical support; Respond to customer inquires, troubleshoot problems, and provide
timely and accurate solutions.
• Lead service tasks: Take ownership of service tasks, including installation, maintenance and
repair activities.
• Prepare proposals/ presentations to support the equipment and service projects.
• Managing all Normet responsibilities at PT Freeport including, financial control inclusive of
budgeting and forecasting, logistics and procurement across all business functions.
• Mentor and Supervise: Provide Guidance and mentorship and transfer of knowledge to PT
Freeport National technicians.
• Training and knowledge sharing: Conduct technical training sessions for PT Freeport National
Service technicians, overseeing their work and assisting in their professional development.
• Prepare and present monthly reporting as required.
• Equipment and Asset Management: Identify and maintain inventory of all equipment and assets
requiring maintenance. Recording of equipment specifications, maintenance history and relevant
documentation.
• Providing frequent reporting to senior management regarding product performance and quality.
• Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs based on
equipment manufacture guidelines, industry best practices and historical data.

• Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs based on
OEM guidelines, best practices, safety and historical data.
• Participation in Monthly Management Meetings with Normet Freeport Team
• Maintain effective communications with all employees to keep them well abreast of NORMET
plans and objectives to ensure everyone is focused on the same goals.
• Implement strategies to provide and or assist with issues incurred within the service department
at the mine.
• Spare Parts Management: Advise PTFI planning and procurement department of recommended
and critical spare parts and advise holdings. Collaborate with Normet procurement and supply
chain teams to ensure management of required inventory considering lead times, strategy and
criticality.
• Ensure continuous support to the Production Planner and Warehouse Coordinators at PT Normet
Indonesia.
• Build and maintain a high degree of interaction and cooperation, understanding and synergy
across the Normet and PTFI Teams.
• Actively participate in establishing and achieving business strategies for PT Normet Indonesia.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyse maintenance data and metrics to identify trends, evaluate
equipment performance and advise data driven decisions.
• Generate reports on maintenance activities, downtime, equipment reliability and maintenance
costs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and manage customer relationship and ensure satisfaction and sales growth.
• Compare business performance as benchmarked against competition.
• Contribute to the development and ongoing Sustainability of the Quality Management Systems.
