Guest Host - Amankila
Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Guest Host, to join Amankila, in Manggis, Karangasem, Bali! Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will be responsible for the daily Front Office operations within resort.
Responsibilities
- Responsible to o versee daily Front Office operations, including guest check-ins, check-outs, and concierge services, ensuring prompt and professional handling of all guest inquiries.
- Actively participate in special guest events or activities, ensuring all guests are properly attended to and their needs are met.
- Maintain accurate guest records, including registration forms, folios, and feedback logs, ensuring proper documentation of guest preferences and service requests.
- Lead by example, ensuring that all team members deliver exceptional guest service in line with Aman’s Brand Promises and Seva standards.
- Provide detailed information about the resort, local attractions, and cultural experiences, ensuring guests are fully informed and supported during their stay.
- Foster teamwork and encourage open communication across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the Front Desk and surrounding areas, ensuring they reflect the resort’s high standards.
- Proactively engage with guests to gather feedback, address any concerns, and ensure their stay is enjoyable and comfortable.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a guest host, preferably in a luxury resort.
- A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Exceptional guest service skills, with the ability to anticipate and fulfil guest needs.
- In-depth knowledge of front office system, and check-in/check-out procedures.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
