Position: Head of Business

Main Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee end-to-end supermarket operations, including supply chain, merchandising, sales, and profit management.
- Drive business growth and market expansion in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop and execute merchandising strategies to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency across all supermarket branches.
- Ensure strong supplier relationships and effective supply chain management.
- Manage financial performance, including revenue targets, cost control, and profitability.
- Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities in Southeast Asia.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development to the operations and business teams.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
- Report directly to the Board of Directors/CEO with regular business updates and strategic recommendations.
General Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Retail Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in the retail/supermarket industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (GM Operations, Head of Business, or equivalent).
- Proven track record in managing large-scale supermarket operations, including supply chain, merchandising, and P&L responsibility.
- Strong experience in driving business growth, market expansion, and operational excellence.
- International exposure and experience within the Southeast Asia market is highly preferred.
- Excellent leadership, people management, and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of regional languages is an advantage.
