At PwC, our people in tax services focus on providing advice and guidance to clients on tax planning, compliance, and strategy. These individuals help businesses navigate complex tax regulations and optimise their tax positions.The Corporate and Accounting Services Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality corporate and accounting services to clients. This role involves managing a team of accountants and consultants, managing client’s accounting and compensation/benefits function and making sure financial statements are aligned to the Indonesian Accounting Standard, optimizing accounting processes, making sure compliance to financial reporting obligations to the relevant authorities, providing strategic and business development contribution to grow the business.
Team Leadership and Management
Supervise and mentor accounting staff and consultants , ensuring professional development and performance.
Allocate resources effectively to meet deadlines and client expectations.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and system including automation and digitalization as well as lead implementation of new technologies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Contribute in managing client engagement , business development and networking to support the growth of the business.
Support in m anaging commercial aspect of client’s services.
Accounting and Corporate Services Operations
Oversee day-to-day accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and tax reporting.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with local and international standards .
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding accounting matters.
Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Ensure clients’ compliance to the regulatory reporting requirements.
Coordinate with auditors and tax consultants during audits and reviews.
Requirements :
Minimum B achelor’s degree in Accounting
Minimum 6 – 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including in a managerial role , preferably in similar roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
E xcellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Eager to develop career in professional services;
Strong motivation for business development and people management.
