Job Summary:
The Physical Flow Manager plans and manages the physical flow of materials in a warehouse or distribution center to ensure efficient and accurate material handling operations. This includes overseeing inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving processes, and transportation logistics. The manager will also be responsible for implementing best practices in supply chain operations and optimizing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations and enhance productivity.
- Manage the daily activities of warehouse staff and provide training as needed.
- Monitor KPIs such as inventory accuracy, order fulfillment rates, and shipment timeliness to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production planning, and quality assurance to ensure smooth material flows.
- Implement lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline warehouse processes.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment in the warehouse.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to warehouse management and supply chain operations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and evaluations for direct reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems and technology solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, drive change management initiatives, and achieve operational excellence.
- Solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with supply chain optimization techniques and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management systems.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
