About the Role
As a Lead in Lending PMO at Amartha, you will play a key role in driving the successful execution of strategic lending initiatives across secured and unsecured products. You’ll manage cross-functional projects, coordinate with key stakeholders, and ensure that initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with Amartha’s goals. While this role emphasizes program and project execution, we’re also open to candidates with strong product experience, as long as they bring structured execution and stakeholder management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end execution of strategic initiatives across Lending, working closely with Product, Operations, Risk, Legal, and Engineering teams
- Design and manage project timelines, milestones, and dependencies to ensure timely and effective delivery
- Build and maintain detailed project documentation including roadmaps, OKRs, dashboards, and reporting
- Identify and resolve project risks and blockers in collaboration with stakeholders
- Serve as a bridge between leadership and execution teams, translating strategy into action
- Ensure project alignment with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Support initiatives in automation, risk mitigation, and operational scalability
- Report progress and impact regularly to senior leadership
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in program management, project management, or product operations in fintech, banking, or lending platforms
- Proven track record of leading complex cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Solid understanding of lending processes, products (MSME/personal/secured/unsecured), and relevant regulations
- Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and aligning execution to business goals
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana, or equivalent
- PMP, Scrum, or other project management certifications are a plus
