Job Overview
Bazar Bizar Asia is looking for a skilled Sourcing and Purchasing Officer to manage sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring the timely, cost-effective acquisition of quality products. The ideal candidate will have established industry connections, be fluent in English, and possess strong negotiation skills to secure the best prices and terms.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Relations: Build and maintain supplier relationships, negotiate favorable terms, and manage contracts to ensure a reliable and consistent supply of goods and services.
- Cost Management: Identify and negotiate the best prices while maintaining product quality and meeting company standards.
- Order Management: Oversee purchase orders, coordinate shipments, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure all purchased goods meet the required quality standards and comply with company policies and regulations.
- Market Research: Continuously analyze market trends to find new suppliers, products, and cost-saving opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Proven experience in sourcing and purchasing, with established industry connections.
- Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of sourcing, supply chain processes, and procurement best practices.
The ideal candidate should be tough enough to handle difficult suppliers, capable of negotiating for better deals, and firm when necessary.
