Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Trading Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s trading operations, managing supplier and customer relationships, optimizing supply chain performance, and driving revenue growth across our trading business.
This is a key leadership role with high visibility and impact, offering the opportunity to shape the future of a fast-expanding company in the Lao market. Experience on coffee trading is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Manage and monitor daily trading operations, including procurement, sales, logistics, and inventory control.
- Strategic Planning: Analyze market trends, identify new products or suppliers, and support the expansion of trading activities locally and regionally.
- Supplier & Customer Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and customers to ensure consistent supply and demand alignment.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute short- and long-term strategies to grow trading volume and profitability.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor the trading team to meet performance targets and ensure high standards of professionalism.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure compliance with local laws, import/export regulations, and company policies.
- Financial Control: Manage pricing strategies, margin targets, and budget planning to achieve financial objectives.
What We Desire from You:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in trading, procurement, distribution, or related fields; experience with regional or international trade is a plus.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify business opportunities and implement long-term strategic initiatives.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of trade negotiations, supplier management, and market analysis.
