SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
Support Accounting function by preparing or conducting accounting verification of expense reimbursements and payments, back-up documentation and assisting in other financial related work to meet customer satisfaction, dead-lines and internal standards.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the monthly budgeting process, financial strategy, and business review by providing the necessary information and financial analysis needed for business decision-making.
- Monitor cash flow by reviewing the Cash Flow statement to ensure optimum utilisation of working capital.
- Prepare payroll by processing salaries as per salary register and to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.
- Assist and comply with all VAT regulations as per local requirements
- Liaise and coordinate with both internal and external parties like banks and auditors to meet audit requirements and adhere to local rules and regulations
- Monitor accounting transactions and see if it is adhered strictly to procedures and guidelines to ensure that accounting books and records are properly maintained and conform to Jotun Group policy and local regulations.
- Conduct monitoring activities by consulting, checking, and filing to ensure that they are in line with internal control guidelines and local requirements.
- Assist in processing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER
What we look for:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Good command in English
- Minimum 2 years experiences in handling fixed asset accounting
- Having experience in big 4 accounting firm as an auditor is a plus
- Have sufficient knowledge of PSAK, IFRS and ERP system
- Have good communication skills, book-keeping skills and high level of integrity
- Meticulous, has ability to prioritize, provide clear direction, and able to manage multi-task
