The Cost Control Administrator is responsible for supporting cost monitoring and control activities in company. This role involves tracking expenses, maintaining cost records, preparing cost reports, and assisting in budgeting processes to ensure that spending is within approved limits.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Cost Monitoring & Tracking
- Monitor departmental expenses against budgets.
- Record and update cost data in the financial or project management system.
- Ensure all expenditures are properly documented and authorized.
Reporting
- Prepare regular cost control reports for management review.
- Generate variance analysis reports (actual vs. budget).
- Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting.
Invoice & Payment Coordination
- Coordinate with purchasing and finance teams to verify supplier invoices.
- Ensure timely processing of payments and accurate cost coding.
Document Management
- Maintain organized cost records.
- Assist in internal audits by providing cost-related documentation.
Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with procurement, finance, and project teams to collect cost-related data.
- Support cost control procedures and help enforce financial discipline across departments.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cost control, budgeting, or financial analysis.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and budgeting processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting or ERP systems.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in monitoring expenses and cost reports.
- Ability to prepare and analyze cost variance reports and recommend corrective actions.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
- Integrity, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability.
