Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Daily Worker Housekeeper to support the cleanliness and hygiene of our fine dining steakhouse. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining high standards and contributing to a refined guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain all public areas of the restaurant, including dining area, restrooms, back-of-house, and staff areas
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at all times
- Handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and appropriately
- Assist in setting up and breaking down the restaurant before and after service
- Refill supplies such as tissue, soap, and sanitizers in guest and staff areas
- Support linen management, including proper storage and supply to relevant departments
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately
- Follow cleaning schedules and standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Maintain proper grooming and hygiene in accordance with company policy
- Support other departments when required to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment (preferred but not required)
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks
- Honest, reliable, and self-motivated
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Basic understanding of hygiene and sanitation standards
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing a clean, safe environment for guests and staff.
