The Product Management team at Shopee is the key focal point between the business, engineering and design teams. The team is responsible for implementing strategy, road maps and features, while adhering to business goals. It covers all functions including but not limited to Financial Services, Supply Chain, Search, Recommendation, Advertising, Order, Promotion, User, Anti-Fraud, Seller Service. About the Team:
The games team aims to provide pleasant shopping experiences to millions of Shopee users throughout more than ten regions with our gamification features. Our team drives Shopee user engagement by leveraging game design elements and principles. We work closely with the business team to make users’ day to day Shopee visit more interesting and make marketing campaigns more fun and thrilling.
Beyond gamification, the games team continuously explore latest variants of game mechanics and technology such as Augmented Reality (AR), Player-versus-Player (PVP) to unlock different gameplay and experience for our users. The word "Fun" best sums up the Team objective, as we believe that through games, we can be closer to and bring joy to our users while creating value for the business.

- Work closely with Product Managers in planning feature development roadmap and evaluating feature adoption through analytics.
- Provide schema design and tracking documents for new features
- Provide insights through in-depth understanding of user behavior to identify areas for improvement.
- Design and evaluate experiments to improve feature usability.
- Develop and maintain reports/dashboards to track key metrics of product performance.

- Preferred 1 - 2 years of working experience in analytic fields and data product design
- A Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics/ Statistics/ Mathematics or a relevant quantitative field
- Data sensitive and practical experience in data analysis and product application
- Advanced knowledge in SQL with proven experience formulating scalable solutions to product problem
- Good understanding of technical architecture and data infrastructure principles
- Knowledge of data creation and consumption products (Spark, DataHub, etc.)
- Comfortable in using data visualization tools such as metabase (tableau is a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication ability to influence and drive strategy across product, engineering, designer, and business team, have strong sense of mission and serving users, and self driven
- Experience in project management process and able to drive project from ideation to completion
- Comfortable in using analytical tools such as Python and R
- Experience with ML products including feature creation and/or model training
- Experience with statistical method, descriptive statistic, and inferential statistic
