Purpose of the Role:
Within Travel Distribution, our Customer Operations division (CMO) focuses on maximizing customer satisfaction and outcomes. We support our customers throughout their journey—from onboarding new tools to everyday use—by leveraging our global experience, broad reach, and operational capabilities. Our group includes key areas such as Delivery Management, Implementation Services, Customer Care, Learning & Knowledge Management, Security & Compliance, and more.
The Capacity Management and Operational Excellence (COE) team ensures strategic alignment, improves processes, uses data insights, and maintains strong governance. We promote a culture of high quality and continuous improvement to enhance collaboration, streamline operations, and deliver meaningful results.
Our Service Analytics team within Capacity Management supports decision-makers with reliable insights, combining business knowledge, technical expertise, and consistent quality. We apply Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence models to diagnose and forecast trends. Our goal is to deliver data-driven solutions that support planning, improve performance, and encourage innovation across the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
Identify data sources, both internal and external to Amadeus, and transform them into actionable insights that support fact-based decision making.
Collect, manage, and analyze complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from various sources using a variety of tools and data analysis techniques to perform comprehensive data analysis.
Ensure the accuracy of data collected. Communicate and translate complicated results & their implications to business stakeholders.
Define collection processes and select the appropriate data infrastructure to perform analysis, while continuously seeking innovative and improved methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Implement data analysis algorithms on a large scale working closely with data engineering members.
Works using existing procedures or guidelines and provides inputs to support/influence area decisions.
Makes recommendations on new solutions and proposes improvements by analyzing different sources of information.
Works with a moderate level of guidance and direction from manager.
About the Ideal Candidate:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Experience in transforming data into insights to identify and quantify business opportunities.
Experience Data Analysis and Visualization.
Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modeling.
Ability to solve business problems by employing Machine Learning (ML), Artificial Intelligence (AI), statistical learning, pattern recognition, or high-performance computing techniques.
Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results within deadlines.
Relevant degree in Applied Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or a similar field.
Knowledge of the Travel Industry is a plus
