Key responsibilities include:
- Manage and optimize containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS or on-prem clusters).
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure in compliance with banking security standards.
- Conduct performance & load testing (kube load test) to ensure reliability of high-transaction systems.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD / Jenkins / GitLab CI for automated build, test, and deployment.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure fast, secure, and compliant release processes.
- Implement monitoring and observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Develop and maintain deployment documentation, SOPs, and technical guidelines.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
- Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, ELB).
- Familiar with kube load testing and other performance testing tools.
- Proficient in one or more CI/CD tools: ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation is a plus).
- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).
- Prior experience in banking or fintech industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
