We are looking for a talented communicator to help us strengthen awareness of Nokia’s leadership in wireless and multimedia technologies among audiences in Indonesia and other key markets in South East Asia (in particular Malaysia, Vietnam, and the Philippines). In this role you will design and deliver a micro-targeted, integrated communications campaign working closely with other members of the Nokia Technologies communications and marketing team. You will promote Nokia’s technology leadership and understanding of the benefits of open standards and FRAND licensing through strategic media relations, social media, content creation, paid partnerships, and events and conferences.
- Map key audiences for Nokia in Indonesia and other key territories in South East Asia.
- Design and deliver an integrated external communications campaign to strengthen awareness of Nokia’s technology leadership. The campaign will use a mix of Earned, Shared, Owned, and Paid channels.
- Develop clear and compelling messages in Indonesian and English.
- Create new and translate existing content (blogs, videos, animations, infographics).
- Build relationships with key media and other stakeholders, and a strong internal network within Nokia Technologies and other parts of Nokia.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and social media commentary.
- Measure and track the success of our communications activities.
You have:
- 7+ years of experience of public relations - either inhouse or in an agency - with a track record of securing impactful, targeted media coverage.
- Deep understanding of social media.
- Fluent written and spoken Indonesian and English and proven ability to convert complex ideas into clear messages.
- A team player who is comfortable being empowered to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and well-established relationships with Indonesian media.
- Project and budget management skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree.
- Flexibility to participate in meetings or respond to messages outside of work hours.
