MidPlaza Holding is looking for a strategic and accomplished Director of Finance. The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in driving our financial strategy, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing financial insights to support business decisions. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of financial principles and experience in the hospitality industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies to support the overall business objectives and growth initiatives.
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance and provide insights to senior management for decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements.
- Lead financial audits and liaise with external auditors and tax consultants.
- Manage cash flow and working capital to safeguard the financial health of the organization.
- Enhance financial controls and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and mentor the finance team to ensure professional growth and high performance.
- Collaborate with department heads to drive financial accountability across all aspects of the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
- Experience in the hospitality or related industry is a must.
- Strong proficiency in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing finance teams.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong strategic mindset with a proactive approach to achieving financial goals.
- Willingness to travel and flexible regarding work assignments.
