Event Support and Coordination
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of in-house events such as tastings, pop-up markets, themed parties, workshops, live music performances, and seasonal celebrations.
- Help manage event logistics, including organizing supplies, coordinating with vendors, setting up, and assisting with event breakdown.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring smooth operations and addressing any issues that arise.
- Maintain and update event calendars, track event timelines, and communicate event details to internal teams.
- Support the Event and Partnership Manager in post-event evaluations and help gather feedback from customers and stakeholders.
Partnership Outreach and Development
- Assist in identifying potential local partners for event collaborations, sponsorships, and cross-promotions, such as local businesses, influencers, and community organizations.
- Help with partnership outreach, including drafting and sending proposals, maintaining partner relationships, and ensuring that all collaboration details are clearly communicated.
- Monitor and track ongoing partnerships, ensuring all parties meet agreed-upon deliverables.
- Coordinate joint promotional efforts with partners (social media shoutouts, special promotions, giveaways, etc.).
Marketing and Promotion Assistance
- Support the marketing team in promoting events and partnerships through social media, email campaigns, and in-store promotions.
- Create engaging content (posts, flyers, newsletters, etc.) to advertise upcoming events and partnerships.
- Assist with managing the café’s social media accounts during events and collaborations, engaging with the community and boosting event visibility.
- Help track the effectiveness of event marketing campaigns and partnerships, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Administrative and Customer Support
- Handle customer inquiries regarding events and partnerships, ensuring excellent customer service and providing information on event details, pricing, and availability.
- Help maintain accurate records of event budgets, partner agreements, and event performance.
- Assist in the preparation of event-related materials, including invitations, thank-you notes, and promotional swag (e.g., flyers, posters, digital content).
- Contribute to the café's overall community engagement strategies by attending local networking events or promoting the café in the community.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Hospitality, Communications, or related field (preferred).
- 1-2 years of experience in event planning, partnership coordination, or customer service in a hospitality or retail setting.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Creative thinking and a strong interest in developing engaging community experiences.
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and basic graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Spark, etc.) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of event management tools and software (e.g., Google Suite, event platforms, spreadsheets) is a plus.
