Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in export administration or international customer service would help the agility of candidates.
- Familiarity with Japanese business culture and communication style would be great, speed up adapt and learn process.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive attitude
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle day-to-day export documentation, order processing, shipment coordination, and customer communication specific to the Japan market. Ensure timely and accurate processing of export-related paperwork in compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with Japanese clients and internal teams using clear and professional English, both written and verbal. This includes responding to inquiries, confirming orders, and resolving basic issues related to shipments or documentation.
- Experience with SAP (or similar ERP systems) is a strong advantage. Tasks may include inputting sales orders, tracking inventory, generating export documents, and coordinating with logistics, sales and finance teams.
- Ability to manage and analyse data using Microsoft Excel. This includes maintaining export tracking sheets, preparing reports, and performing basic data analysis (e.g., using formulas, pivot tables, or charts).
