Get to Know the Role
The Finance Operations Associate will help ensure smooth financial operations and supporting the growth of Grab Commercial team. Your role will involve close collaboration with the Finance team, Business team, and other key stakeholders across the organization to manage and optimize daily operations related to billing, tax compliance, payment collections, and administrative tasks. You will contribute to the efficiency of financial processes, ensure accuracy, and provide essential support for business expansion initiatives. You will report to the Manager, and work fully on-site at our Jakarta office.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
- AP/AR Management: Oversee invoicing, payment processing, and collections to ensure cash flow.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to align billing and invoicing strategies with business objectives.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to improve financial operations and increase efficiency.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to support strategic decisions across GFB, GrabGifts, and multiple projects.
- Finance Administration: Manage administrative finance tasks for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Debt Management: Monitor assigned accounts to identify and resolve outstanding debts.
- Client Support: Serve as the main contact for client financial inquiries, investigating and resolving billing discrepancies.
Qualifications
What Essential Skills You Will Need
- Min. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Min. 2 years of relevant experience, familiarity with B2B financial processes would be an added value.
- High proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with data visualization tools would be an added value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to tasks.
- Pay attention to small details, with administrative and organizational abilities.
- Comfortable working with both data and people.
