Description
- Do feasibility studies to understand the risks, requirements, and sales potential of new product ideas.
- Develop new product recipes—from small-scale (lab) to large-scale (commercial)—and ensure proper documentation like SPM, BOM, and testing protocols.
- Improve recipes to beat competitors in taste and make sure they hit cost targets (COGS).
- Work with Operations and Quality teams to design production processes and choose the right tools or machines.
- Research competitors: taste their products, analyze their ingredients, and compare costs. Summarize findings in a clear report and action plan.
- Regularly check how well our processes are running—focusing on quality and cost—and give recommendations to improve.
- Help validate and test any changes to existing products or processes.
- Support the Operations team in solving quality or process issues.
- Track your project timelines and milestones. Solve problems early to keep things on time and on target (OTIF).
- Make sure all product tests are properly validated and approved.
- Keep the lab clean and organized. Do weekly decluttering and inventory checks (5S).
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology or related fields.
- At least 6 months of internship experience in product development, research & development, or a similar role.
- Hands-on cooking skills.
- Proficient in Google Docs, Google Sheet, etc.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to manage time well and handle multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Comfortable working with different teams and managing timelines.
