To contribute to the development and maintenance of robust, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that support critical business functions. The Software Engineer will focus on building reliable system components, integration between core system and satellite application, collaborating across teams, and continuously improving system architecture to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
- Develop and optimize integration with core system
- Implement efficient, secure backend services and APIs.
- Collaborate with teams to ensure seamless system integration.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve system-level issues.
- Enhance database performance and optimize queries.
- Ensure code quality through testing and best practices.
- Stay updated with advancements in system architecture and cloud computing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or Bioinformatics, or related field
- Interest in supporting research and innovation in pharmaceutical or life sciences industries.
- Experience in Research & Development area (e.g. lab or development center) is a plus
- Curiosity and willingness to learn domain-specific technologies (e.g., LIMS, ELN, lab automation).
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C++, or Go) through coursework, internships, or personal projects.
- Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and backend development.
- Exposure to data integration, analytics, or automation tools is a plus.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
