Job Description
- Support legal operations team to execute all related issues on the operational function of legal team.
- Establish, review and evaluate policies related to legal operations and ensure implementation by all team members.
- Planning, implementing, and managing the internal control function in legal Team.
- Evaluate processes, define problems or issues, and uncover areas for further improvement.
- Advise relevant stakeholders on various regulatory requirements related to general corporate and procurement business operation.
- Reviewing and/or preparing agreement related to the general corporate and procurement.
- Ensure the fulfilment of all regulatory compliance for company or products.
- Identify any issues in commercial agreements with the business partners.
- Prepare and review the draft agreements also negotiate the key points with the counterparts.
- Attending negotiation meeting with relevant external vendor.
- Liaising and coordinating with law firms and corporate secretaries (where necessary).
Requirements
- Holds a bachelor degree from a reputable university; law degree is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience as an in-house counsel in a reputable company or in a similar position at a reputable law firm; or holding project-management related function. Having experiences and familiarity with tech industry is preferred.
- Has the ability to work on a wide range of complex matters with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and improve work processes.
- Has an excellent understanding of commercial businesses and their compliances.
- Has deep knowledge of legal aspects and contract drafting, or project management.
- Has excellent communication, negotiation, networking, management, critical thinking, and leadership skills.
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work under pressure and to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic corporate environment.
- Adaptable and commercially minded team player with collegial personality.
- Fluent in English, both oral and writing.
