The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee’s buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.
Job Description:
- Identify and evaluate potential partnership opportunities, market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments that align with the Shopee strategic goals and objectives
- Conduct end-to-end partnership project management and coordination of the recommended solutions
- Actively collaborate with stakeholders from cross-divisions and cross-business units
- Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective partners
- Negotiate partnership agreements, contracts, and terms that benefit all parties involved
- Generate regular reports to track the effectiveness of partnerships and identify areas for improvement
- Monitor and measure the performance of partnerships against predefined metrics and goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and above with 4+ years of experience in project management or business partnership management
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and change management skills
- Able to collaborate with stakeholders to execute strategic plans
- Proficient in English to facilitate discussions and collaborations across stakeholders
- Proven ability to operate Microsoft Excel
