We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Procurement to oversee sourcing and purchasing activities for our data centre operations. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of equipment, services, and infrastructure components that support the construction and operation of high-performance data centres.Job Description
About the Role:
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for data centre construction, IT hardware, power, cooling, and facility services.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance, legal) to align procurement with project timelines and business goals.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify risks and opportunities.
- Implement procurement best practices, including RFPs, benchmarking, and cost modeling.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Track and report KPIs, including cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement cycle times.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of procurement experience, preferably in data centre, construction, or IT infrastructure.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Familiarity with procurement tools (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa).
- Understanding of data centre systems (power, HVAC, cabling, racks) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
