Job Description

Major Function

Responsible for developing, and managing the assigned accounts of: mainly corporate by promoting the reputation of the properties and representing Swiss-Belhotel International to the highest standard.
Aim is to increase assigned accounts production, source markets and market segments for the hotels and take personal responsibility for delivery of exceptional guest service through meticulous follow-up
Must understand sales strategy and financial objectives and distribution.
Ensure that responses to transient, group and banquet leads from accounts are sent on the same working day of receipt.
Follow-up leads and contracts in a timely manner and ensure that planning is always accurate.
Check validity of rates for assigned accounts.
Prospect new business through phone solicitation, outside sales calls, customer visits.
Follow market trends and suggest actions and promotions accordingly.
Identify all opportunities to drive direct business to the hotel to maximize profit margins.

Duties & Responsibilities:
To obtain market intelligence for devising sales & marketing business plan
To produce the following reports in a formulated account management system: Weekly report, Monthly report, Additional ad hoc report as required by your superior
To communicate regularly with hotels sales team on sales issues as well as hotels performance and work with them to achieve the room night target.
To evaluate and develop sales opportunities from the assigned markets for the hotels.
Whenever required, to work closely and enthusiastically with other department heads at the hotels to ensure teamwork and smooth and efficient operation in the hotels, especially in handling and dealing with group booking
Whenever required, to meet, entertain and coordinate activities and events with hotels, clients, guests and industry colleagues.
To participate in community and industry activities, this may benefit the company and the profession and develop necessary relationship.
To exceed budget expectations in sales of room as established in the yearly budget.
To develop maximum opportunities to generate sales volume with a view of exceeding Budget expectations for room and banquet related sales.
To coordinate and conduct hotels inspections when required
To maintain the database system up-to-date and ensure client information is useable for future targeting purposes.
Follow-up leads and contracts in a timely manner and ensure that planning is always accurate.
Maintain a complete understanding of the Employee Handbook and adhere to regulations contained therein.
Maintain a complete understanding of the company policy relating to fire, safety and health, and ensure all precautions are taken to safeguard against incidents for areas under your supervision.
Perform other assignments to meet business needs as directed by your superiors.
Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the company by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues
Attends meetings and training as required by managers.
Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of local law.
