Purpose of Job
- To oversee day-to-day operations of all retail outlets, including souvenirs, apparel, F&B, consignment, and ensure efficient functioning and a positive, consistent customer experience according to the company's vision and mission, through planning, organizing, directing, staff supervision, and controlling outlets operation and administration, to achieve sales targets.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
FINANCIAL
- To ensure each outlet is managed successfully to achieve the sales targets by monitoring store performance, implementing promotions, and planning strategies
- To monitor all retail costs
- To coordinate with the related departments on procuring retail stock and to maintain stock levels efficiently
OPERATIONAL
- Supervise and support day-to-day outlet operations to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Responsible for recruitment, onboarding, and training of new staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to team members to maintain high performance.
- Address basic customer complaints or inquiries, escalating to the General Manager when necessary.
- Responsible for achieving sales goals by promoting products, running sales campaigns, and motivating the team to upsell the products
- Monitor inventory levels and participate in regular stock checks.
- Assist in communication and coordination with vendors and consignment partners.
- Contribute creative ideas to enhance in-store experiences and product presentation.
- Ensuring products are properly displayed, organized to maximize sales
- Ensure that all stores maintain cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and company presentation standards.
- Preparing sales reports and store performance summaries for review by the General Manager.
- Help troubleshoot operational issues and resolve staff concerns promptly.
- Manage staff schedules and assignments when delegated.
- Support the implementation of security procedures in retail outlets and retail operation policies.
- Responsible for market merchandise by studying advertising, sales promotion, and display plans; analyzing operating and financial statements for profitability ratios.
- Maintains operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and creating policies and procedures.
GENERAL
- Provide accurate information to customers regarding park facilities and retail offerings.
- Foster positive relationships with team members, vendors, and management.
EMPLOYEE HANDLING
- Facilitate communication between staff and management to ensure a harmonious work environment.
- Help cultivate a high-performing retail team through support and mentoring.
- Motivate staff to prioritize guest satisfaction through hands-on involvement.
- Promote a positive work culture and uphold staff discipline and SOP adherence.
- Monitor staff conduct and assist in addressing performance or behavioral issues.
- Participate in planning and delivering retail staff training programs.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication skills, English is a must.
- At least 2 years of experience in the Fashion / Apparel / FB Retail industry.
- Experience in retail management.
- Excellent customer service skills & problem-solving skills.
- Customer satisfaction oriented.
- Team Management & Team Development skills.
- Knowledge of sales and inventory tracking.
- Well-organized with strong time management skills.
