About the role
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in growing market share, introducing new products, and strengthening customer relationships.
This role will be based in Indonesia and report to Regional Sales Manager, SEAO.
Key responsibilities
- Realize individual sales target, implementation of sales policies, procedures to ensure compliance with Sandvik policies.
- Respond to complex customer inquiries and provide tooling recommendations.
- Ensure receivable account balance monthly; follow up with customers on outstanding balances and ensure that customers pay as per terms to help manage cash flow and reduce potential bad debts.
- Lead sales plans using CRM via leads, opportunities and customer visit reports.
- Drive negotiation and defense of prices and margins with end users and distributors.
- Understanding of the metal cutting industry and market trends.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and develop sales strategies.
- Knowledge of pricing, margins, and product profitability.

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ Experience in Sales or Technical Industri Cutting Tool, Machinery or similar industry
- Minimum 5-year strong communication and presentation skills (small and large groups)
- Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience preferred
- Fluent in local language (e.g., Indonesian) and English (required)，both in oral and written
