Description
This role is accountable and fully responsible to grow the business mainly in Airfreight and other Shipco's products in accordance to company objectives (i.e. revenue, profitability, product growth initiatives). Act as key point of contact between the company and customers: answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products.
What You'll Do...
- Establish and develop potential business opportunities through customer visit, fostering customer relationship, and offering new business trade lane
- Prepare and present company proposal, submit quotation, and also negotiating rate with pricing
- Maintain existing customer relationships, and contacts to ensure customer satisfaction in our services
- Collaborate with manager to ensure alignment with company strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development.
- Responsible for all incoming queries and provide solution to the service delivery related issues
- Operative use of company implemented sales tools and processes, e.g update report in CRM (Sales call log, Customer Profile)
What You'll Need...
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management or related field.
- Minimum 3 years similar experience in the Ocean / Air freight industries
- Knowledgeable in commercial and operational roles in freight management/NVOCC business (Product/Commercial Business Development/Tender Management) will be an added advantage
- Good analytical skills & negotiation experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
