Job Opening: School Counsellor / PsychologistWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Counsellor/Psychologist to join our Primary School team for the upcoming academic year. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the emotional, social, and behavioral development of our young learners, including students with special educational needs.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide counseling and emotional support to primary school students
- Collaborate with teachers and parents to support students’ well-being and learning needs
- Conduct admissions assessments for prospective students
- Observe and assess student behavior; provide professional input for intervention planning
- Assist in developing and implementing individualized support plans for students with special needs
- Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in Psychology
- Licensed Psychologist (preferred)
- Proven experience working with students with special needs
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in engaging with young children and their parents
- Easy to adapt to new challenges and students
- Willing to go extra miles for the students
